Andy, BP said a constructive midfield player.......not a lazy git who only turned up for 1 game in 20......the other games he spent diving to con the ref or kicking the opposition. Talented......yes, but wasted.

Couldn't resist this on his 2 goals last night after recovering from pre season injury setbacks.

What the fans think;

If you have Latics player you can see his goals at 3:40 and 4:20 into the video.

Oldham clearly didn't give Rusnak a chance so why draft him in to replace a departed player?. Why loan a player from an English Premier League club for a tin pot League One reserves team?, if you ask me it's a slap in the face for a great young future talent imo. Oldham don't deserve Albert Rusnak and Rusnak shouldn't have apologised to Oldham, Patrick Vieira you are completely wrong and out of order for forcing the kid to do so. him.

Agree with alot of what you are saying does not matter if its Rusneck, or any loanee do not see the point in saying a player on loan if we do not plan to play him. I can understand Rusneck not wanting to play reserve team football for us but at the sametime he has to understand he needs to earn his place in the side.

The comment about Rusnak being the worst player at Shewsbury is rubbish. He was impressive. It was Rodgers, unfortunately, that looked the clear weak link. Hopefully he'll improve. If that's what happened with Rusnak, fair play. Attitude is so important if you want reach the top, rather than just play for money and ego. Nice that Viera took a stand rather than carrying his kit to the team bus....(Beardsley). But if the likes of Rooney are setting the tone at the top.., granted he's an England international..., then you can see how it's replicated right down to teenagers. Usually, unfortunately, because it works - player power. But maybe that's starting to change - Croft and Simpson don't appear to have swanned up the leagues with offers to meet wage demands... Simpson is a strange one. Not even heard he's on trial anywhere?!

The thing is the likes of Rooney etc would have worked hard as young players like Rusnak hence them making it all the way to the top. It's a bit sad that some of these youngsters think they can behave like this before proving anything. Totally agree with you about attitude needing to be right. I'm hoping LJ is a manager who will be consistent in getting rid of players who don't want to give their all for the club and so far the sans are promising

Complete and utter crap, if you don't mind me saying so. Whether you're playing for your parent team or another on loan, you only get into the starting XI on ability and performance. If that's not up to scratch, some other bugger who is a better option plays instead. It's part and parcel of being a professional footballer, part of your learning curve, and if you're not selected, you work bloody hard, even in the reserves if need be, to prove you deserve your place.

If Rusnak has chucked his teddies out because he doesn't think he should play in the reserves, then it was the right thing to do to end the loan spell. Do you really want a 19 year old kid dictating what he does? No, not for me. How many of our "regular first teamers" have been dropped into the reserves or sat on the bench and had to fight their way back? It's what you do and, in most cases, they've done it. Wesolowski is a prime example.

Well done, LJ and Viera. You've shown you had the balls that you have the right work ethics, which is more than Rusnak has done. The one good thing that can come out of this is that the lad has learned from it and will go on to have decent career, including loan spells if needs be.

Viera is showing the attitude of a good future manager.

Charlie mac,JCH, Kasunga,Byrne, Rogers, Sid, Dayton.. All played reserve team football this season.. Fully contracted players ... our fully contracted players.... Why should a loanee be any different .. Petulant little boy .. Well done LJ and PV ...

He will soon find his way back to Slovakia with that attitude, no manager in their right mind would want a player dictating when and where he plays.

Difference is these lads have no choice and are fully under contract to us Rusnack just on loan even if he sticks in City's EDS still getting a nice wage.
