shefflatic
he now says on instagram 'don't worry my job at Oldham isn't done' I am hoping here that perhaps LJ has given reasoning for not playing him ala JCH earlier in the season he needed to buck his ideas up and he did, therefore back in the fold again. I certainly hope he isn't leaving and bags us the winner at Anfield............ Genuinely though he is certainly worth persevering with for the duration of his contract at the very least, new country and all etc
super_blue
Maybe a hard core shock tactic for Sidney to change his lifestyle and fight to play for us!

mrs synic
He needs to take "getting finger out of arse" lessons from Danny Philliskirk. glad you sorted our rooney,s problem, can you let LJ know that his finger is in the wrong place, probably effects his running,
lancy lad
You got me wrong, I was taking about Sidney. Monty has already gone. Fair play mate. Thought you meant Montano.
Break The Silence
I certainly hope he isn't leaving and bags us the winner at Anfield. Good luck with that.
blueatheart
MENOAFC Tweets that Sidney and LJ have discussed the situation and Sidney wants to stay at the club and fight for his place on the pitch. Fair play.
BP1960
MENOAFC Tweets that Sidney and LJ have discussed the situation and Sidney wants to stay at the club and fight for his place on the pitch. Fair play. Starting Sydney at Sheffield will scupper all their pre match plans, they won't be expecting 2 wingers.
disjointed
MENOAFC Tweets that Sidney and LJ have discussed the situation and Sidney wants to stay at the club and fight for his place on the pitch. Fair play. Perhaps this was the kick up the arse he needed, hope he gets his head down and shows us long term what we have only seen in brief glimpses. singe
cant help but feel LJ shot from the hip, and has had to back down somewhat.
blueatheart
I agree with disjointed, perhaps LJ has been trying the background sensitive approach for a few weeks to no avail. Hence Sidney not being in the squad for a few weeks. Going public has given LJ the response he wanted. Either excellent management or luck. al_bro
In today's interview LJ says Sidney's contract is for 12 months and an option for a further year, not 2 years as has been reported by the press. He also has a dig at the press for linking him threatening to put Sid on the transfer list, and poor behaviour it's not true. He says that Sid is a good player who prefers to play on the left, but LJ has tried to change him by playing him on the right. He says that Sid is also used to playing in a Dutch 4 3 3, and has found it difficult to adjust to playing in a 4 4 2 on the right.
