youngen
With it being unreserved seating, I'd say get there well before - if you're bothered about where you sit that is! Which brings me to my next question. Where are the singers going? Towards the left of the stand looking out? Want to be amongst the noise for this one. Ive a feeling the whole end will be singing, Forget about seating, make it an all standing section!
Chaddy_Ender
Drum will be towards the Sandy Lane end, are the club going to ask for more seating in the stand behind the goal (think its Pearl Street stand) ? Could see us taking 4000 if we are still in the top 6.

Enough to make a little bit of noise I think. Great effort selling 3000 a month before the game though. Now let's start counting how many are left for Sheff u... oafc_lover
I reckon we should ask for more to be honest. Even if we asked for another 800 and only sold another 400, at least it cuts out the risk of Oldham in the Rochdale ends and means all Oldham can sit together. I think We'd have to pay for the full 800 even if we only sold 400. I'd imagine Rochdale would ask us to pay for the extra police & stewards to create a divide between home and away fans too. Won't happen.
aaronoafc
There may even be more than 3200 in the stand. I remember a couple of years ago when we first played (the saturday after the tuesday that was abandoned) The stand looked full yet about 100 people were stood up at the front on the path infant of the seats. (unless there were a load of seats empty to the right and they just moved over for the atmosphere).

Id say the bill for policing could be higher if it isnt considered.

MAC0AFC
here's hoping that they put the tickets on sale so early to get an indication of how many we'll bring so they can give us the other two stands and shove their measley number into one stand

SavageTheBeast
80 tickets left 200 more by Monday and still a month to go. Any chance of getting more tickets for their end especially with a not very expensive November

NewBlue
They saw this thread, which is a little embarrassing:http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/members/rochdale/forum/129199/oldham/#36The non rivalry probably stems from being above them for the past few decades. Although they seem to attribute our ticket sales to overrating the rivalry aspect, which is clearly untrue considering the followings we have taken to Bury, where its pretty accepted there is a lesser rivalry, despite them being a bigger club than Dale.
