0855 gets into Euston at 1146

£80 though.....

A coach landing in Leyton at about 12 would be spot on...

Anyone know of one?

Megabus £10 Manchester to London leaves 7 gets in at 11.30, hop on the tube to Leyton for just after 12.... or the 'Luxury' option of National express for an extra 6 quid.

Planned engineering works have now been cancelled - not showing up on the timetables yet though

You're :censored:ing kidding me. I'm lumbered on a 4hr45min National Express home on the Sunday now.

The engineering works have been cancelled due to a land slip on the alternative diversionary route via Aylesbury last week that's going to take months to repair .

When i last looked before the cancellation of works cheapest i found was about £50 spliiting your journey via Birmingham there was flights fo about £45 and then some a on a megabus back.

I'm gonna go Overground from Queens Road Peckham to Canada Water. Jubilee to Stratford then Central to Leyton. For a 12 o'clock start I'll probably have to leave the house at about 11. Bring back British Rail!

Edit: I think it'll come to about £6 return.

Hopefully they'll do the £38 including tube deal once it's direct again......?

Let us know if they do that again, that's a bargain, never done orient on train, is it easy to get to by tube from euston?

Posted

So is it a case of Manchester to Euston and then the tube to Orient?

Cheapest anyone has seen for the Man to Eus (return) train so far?

What a :censored:ing piss take!

Would have thought anybody with a grievance about this would be better off contacting the rail company they booked with, if only on the premise, if you don't ask you don't get.

Can't seem to get any trains up on trainline for trains into Leyton?

Did it last season for the Tuesday night match

Euston to Bank. south on the northern line.

Bank to Leytonstone, east on the central line.

Turn right out of Leytonstone tube station along the high street to the ground , around 10 minute walk
