HarryBosch
0855 gets into Euston at 1146 £80 though..... A coach landing in Leyton at about 12 would be spot on... Anyone know of one?
oafcmetty
Planned engineering works have now been cancelled - not showing up on the timetables yet though

Megabus £10 Manchester to London leaves 7 gets in at 11.30, hop on the tube to Leyton for just after 12.... or the 'Luxury' option of National express for an extra 6 quid. peanuts
The engineering works have been cancelled due to a land slip on the alternative diversionary route via Aylesbury last week that's going to take months to repair .

24hoursfromtulsehill
I'm gonna go Overground from Queens Road Peckham to Canada Water. Jubilee to Stratford then Central to Leyton. For a 12 o'clock start I'll probably have to leave the house at about 11. Bring back British Rail! Edit: I think it'll come to about £6 return. Its woked out now cheaper from Manc even with the replacement bus from Mk Dons just over £44 for 40 min on a coach can tolerate that. disjointed
What a :censored:ing piss take! Would have thought anybody with a grievance about this would be better off contacting the rail company they booked with, if only on the premise, if you don't ask you don't get. Was more annoyed at just the bad luck/sods law of it all having now made other plans with my mates for that weekend due to the inconvenience of the previous travel options.
