LightDN123 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 It's a big loss but we have other players to cover. Poelon AMS (when fit) Murphy Turner Philiskirk Forte(even tho better out wide) We have options this year, and the difference this year is that we have quality as really replacements
astottie Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Someone best tell Jabo to sneak on that coach quick then.
Wozzer Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Out for 3-4 weeks. Back nice and fresh for the promotion push then
oafc_lover Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 Back nice and fresh for the promotion push then Aye that's what I said. He's deleted the tweet now. Not sure if the club has told him to? No mention of the injury on the OS so maybe they're hoping Colchester and Orient will make tactical plans for him being in the side.
Monty Burns Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Aye that's what I said. He's deleted the tweet now. Not sure if the club has told him to? No mention of the injury on the OS so maybe they're hoping Colchester and Orient will make tactical plans for him being in the side. He tweeted it????? Not up to speed with the mind games I see. Maybe we should delete this thread!
oafc_lover Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 He tweeted it????? Not up to speed with the mind games I see. Maybe we should delete this thread! It was my fault in fairness! Asked him how his scan went. At least he's interacting with fans eh!
beag_teeets Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 It was my fault in fairness! Asked him how his scan went. At least he's interacting with fans eh! Is that what got Ched Evans into trouble? Too soon?
jsslatic Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I think he has got the memo, tweeted it and took it down so it looks like leaked confirmation he's out so Colchester prepare for Murphy, and then boom - first half hat trick tomorrow.
PlayItLivo Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 It's a big loss I might have agreed, but then I've just read that Britt Asombalonga has been ruled out for a year. That's career threatening stuff.
astottie Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 A further tweet says he'll be out for 2weeks. Damage limitation me thinks.
SavageTheBeast Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Lets ease him back a lot of games in March him and Forte need to be close to the best if we are to challenge
Blue_Guru Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Given Colchester will be tough to breakdown and sat back with little room to run into channels I think Poleon would be pretty redundant today unfortunately. Just not intelligent enough IMO to create the chances...even Forte could be Mellis and Murphy being more intelligent players can hopefully can create the 1 or 2 chances and be clinical...if we do get an early goal or two however Poleon will be good to bring on as they open up and are chasing the goals.
Chaddy_Ender Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Forte will rip them apart on the left today IMO, just hope he doesnt move him inside.
Chaddy_Ender Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Forte will rip them apart on the left today IMO, just hope he doesnt move him inside. So he moves him inside for the last 35 minutes making him totally ineffective and sticks Poleon wide left - dear me.
Diego_Sideburns Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 In the Chron, it's hoped he'll be back for Port Vale. http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-features/10/oldham-athletic-news/90382/turner-prize
Diego_Sideburns Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 MENOAFC @MENOAFC · 4h 4 hours ago Conor Wilkinson in the Republic of Ireland U21 squad v Andorra on March 26th. #OAFC play Rochdale on March 24th then Bradford on March 28th.
super_blue Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Does that mean he can play in those games? Wouldn't have thought so!
Downender Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) thats bollocks .....wtf has happened there?? Edited March 10, 2015 by Downender
josh_latics Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Chron seems to think he will miss both, as will Winchester. Fingers crossed Kusunga gets a call up, we can postpone them then, right? Ugh. When did this season stop being fun?
singe Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Chron seems to think he will miss both, as will Winchester. Fingers crossed Kusunga gets a call up, we can postpone them then, right? Ugh. When did this season stop being fun? Given how many games we have in March, and the (increasingly remote) possibility of a new manager, the postponements could help us for once.
