yarddog73
At least its diehard Latics fans, nothing worse than 5500 at Anfield with no atmosphere in reserved seating, should be a good day out.
oafc1955
50% of our home gate last Saturday is not a bad effort just now......we're unbeaten maybe but God knows how cos we're not playing well. People are reluctant to make a special journey to BP to get tickets for a league game, pay on the day would probably have seen us sell out. A change to pay on the day tomorrow would probably see off another 3/400 but whether that will happen after the fiasco last time is doubtful. In Spain at the moment so it's LP for me...hopefully! oafcprozac
What is this willy waving contest about away fan numbers? Whenever we go in numbers anywhere it becomes a dickheads day out and usually a :censored:e performance follows. Give me gillingham or Colchester any day.... OAFCKeepTheFaith
Only 2,283 Bolton fans at next door neighbours Blackburn, of a total crowd of nearly 15,000. By most football league club's standards just under 2,000 away anywhere is a top effort! Edited August 28, 2015 by OAFCKeepTheFaith
HarryBosch
It's very worrying that we can only muster 2000 for this A local derby, the first decent away day of the season, on a Bank Holiday weekend, Weather should be alright, against big spending opposition, should be a decent game, we're unbeaten & could be well placed in the league if we win, David Dunn is in the side.... 500 to 1000 who would normally have this in a heartbeat must be well pissed off. Doesn't bode well for the season....

Most of the lads I know not going are literally just because going getting a ticket from BP is a ball ache with the parking enforcements etc Pay on the day and they'd be there no problem. Got to make it as easy as possible to get people to part with their dosh!

LaticsPete
Think some of you should get on the plane to Switzerland ....assisted suicide is much easier there What a set of gloomy , glass hardly wet, posts there are. I'm going tomorrow, knowing that 2000 Latics supporters have the potential to make a great noise,. Those that aren't there, won't be giving them a second thought. Lee Sinnott
Didnt know you got that experiance on away days, better watch out for that one. You said there's nothing worse. You didn't specify that it would be on an away trip. I was merely pointing out that there are worse things than taking 5500 to Anfield and sitting in reserved seats...
