L1onheartNew
Watching him tonight as Leicester tear Citeh a new one, I can't help thinking that the commercial decision not to sign him was a far worse one than the Tarky cash in early one. JohnnyPimp
Maybe Fleetwood cashed in the sell-on?
GlossopLatic
One of them things. The one thing I've noticed watching this game that Leicester do is they put the ball into the areas that the strikers want it and just how well they put balls into the box. The strikers always make telling runs and the wide players just put it where they want it. It's not groundbreaking it's not particularly sophisticated they just do the basics very very well. Same for everyone else who didn't sign him, non story.
leeslover
We have signed several Vardys. You can only complain if you were shouting about that one at the time.
Magister
There is a lesson for us from Leicester.....the importance of a good keeper and in particular one that can distribute brilliantly and quickly. Our keeper situation is going to continue to cost us

Our keeper situation is going to continue to cost us As is our midfield and our non-goalscoring. We are skint and in my opinion Coleman is good enough. It wasnt his fault that Cornell wasnt/ isnt

So would I and it would give the smaller clubs hope that even in this day and age of the 5 billion TV contracts and the 200k a week salaries that anything is possible. Flemboy
Yet another mistake.See Rooney scored again for Aberdeen.Best was Penney signing Colbeck for the same Price we could have got Jordan Rhodes for at the same time we were looking at new players and he went against Royles advice to sign him. oafcprozac
Rhodes had all but agreed to come in on loan to us. Hudds paid £100k plus add one to make a permanent deal... Thus we signed Blackman on loan For a month...
