Kids climbing over the wall to get into the Chaddy for nowt

People coming in for free at "three quarter time"

Geordie fans who always wore Donkey jackets

People selling the "Green Final" outside (and then the "Pink Final") - how they got them printed and down to the ground with the final scores listed there by the time people came out of the ground still baffles me to this day.

Exciting and skillful players like Alan Groves, Simon Stainrod, David Shaw, Carl Valentine, Andy Ritchie - my oh my what I would give to see players like that gracing the turf now.

I still have some green finals from the 1970s.

The guy who sat in the main stand behind the Directors box and greeted every bad refereeing decision for about 5 years with "You should have gone to Specsavers".

He stopped going in the Dave Penny era and now has a season ticket at City.

All the blokes wearing flat caps and rosettes.

My Dad losing his partial denture in the Chaddy when he went a bit over the top with a celebration. Only happened the once, though. Losing the dentures, that is. He went over the top with celebrations on a fairly regular basis.
