Ryan
https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/jack-byrne-oldham-athletic-latics-15038255 Not suspended. Broke a couple of 'discipline rules' and will be training with the youth team for the 'foreseeable future'. It has been this way since the first few days of pre-season according to the article. Surely it has to be resolved soon...
kowenicki
So not “gone” not “suspended” as reported by those ‘in the know’. Not yet anyway. Lets hope it’s resolved soon.
leeslover
I wish they'd had VAR on the training ground. If it was that blatant he must have drop kicked Fane when there was no ball on the pitch?

Ryan
This must have been going on for nearly 7 weeks if the incident happened at the start of pre-season. Can't they just kiss and make up already?

Surely it has to be resolved soon... It’s the phrase ‘foreseeable future’ that worries me too. It almost suggests that the club does not know what it’s next step should be. As Ryan says above... it has to be resolved soon. And then there’s is Tony P. Isn’t it about time that’s his absence is clarified and his future resolved?

deyres42
Two days since the Byrne hashtag and all of a sudden Lemsagam is keen to tell how he saved the club and Bunn is talking about the thing he's spent best part of two months not talking about... LaticsLen
Maybe turning up on time and buying into double training sessions early pre season might of helped the lad a bit.

I would have thought that the worst place for him to train was with the youngsters, We don't want a player who could be a danger on the training ground and has a discipline problem injuring or influencing them. Get rid. Edited August 16, 2018 by laticsrblue

deyres42
Be interested to hear what has changed in the past two days that means Bunn is now free to talk.

al_bro
He's probably training with the youth team until he apologises for whatever he's done, which is why the word foreseeable is being used.

Early pre season before a ball had been kicked double training sessions were put on for fitness work. In at the Crack of dawn, breakfast at the club, gym session, training early afternoon all that kind of stuff in readiness for the first couple of pre season games. Didn't Bunn and Rhodes say at the meeting the manager night that Byrne's attitude had to change and quick if he's to become part of his and the clubs plans. deyres42
Lemsagam more wedged than we dreamed of, happy to let a 6k a week player rot away indefinitely on the managers say so.
