How many of those do you honestly see in a promotion winning team and that's how many 'real' signings I think we've made. 1.

Oh sorry, can you point out where you said 'real' signings?

He isn't a signing, had him last season ffs ! Are people on the wind up here?!

So was Lacovitti from your little list,

he was out of contract and fucked off for a while. He is therefore, a signing (unfortunately)

Didn't the club announce that Vera had been released, then rejoined later?

I mean, I don't count him as a new signing, but I thought they had announced him as leaving.

They did. Still not a new signing.

What's the point then? Absolute farce this pre season is turning into.

Halifax and Stockport .. it says it all. Lack of signings, disjointedness on the pitch.

Lol

  • 2 weeks later...

With the addition of this extra pre season game, we now play Saturday and then Tuesday six times in a row to finish pre season and the first three weeks of the season, is this such a good idea with a threadbare squad?

Questions will be asked if we don't get off to the desired start. A poor league start, followed by an exit in the League Cup and a defeat that could jeopardise our progression in the EFL trophy would not be an ideal start.

Well the desired start hasn't happened. Stage two on Wednesday is huge. Defeat there and chances of progression in the Leasing trophy almost also disappears.

Wednesday is not huge, at all.  It's a pointless competition.

Who gives a flying fuck about tomorrow night?

It's an abomination of a competition and not worth bothering with. I couldn't give a toss whether we're in it or not.

If we ever get to Wembley in what is nothing more than a kickabout competition, unless it's on the telly box, I'm not sure I could be arsed.
