How many loans have already gone back ? That ginger lad from Burnley, anyone else ? That’s a lot of loan players! Surely we’ll above anyone else in this league ? PeteG
I'm sure somebody put that Roberts and Wellens had gone back but not sure, I don't think the club have said they have.

Monty Burns
add in a dollop of stubbornness and there are the follies of both assumption and looking at something once before making a decision highlighted above. incidentally the reason there are lots of ex [insert role here] knockin about. McGlynns first touch for us was excellent and it went downhill from there. The Boss announced somebody wasnt with us anymore due to injury think it was Roberts. Wellens l think theyre being nice to, to avoid any potential badmouthing back at Carrington dinner tables. Threlkeld must just be like Tommy Grav or sumat. Carty prob go back if he doesn't get a sniff at weekend, as predicted by BP.

BP1960
On my first assignment tomorrow looking at a player on each team. Also a very powerful young player is being tracked after a tip I've had. Obviously I cant give names anymore but I'm very optimistic.

I posted this a few weeks ago, Stockport apparently, we could of picked him up pre season for peanuts though which just looks like stupidity now. Monty Burns
there's lots of 'stupidity' been going on for ages at the club, until about four months ago when a certain legendary family man rocked up and started whackin the club with professionalism and other such treats. lets just make sure we find the next few gems and don't give them a free tranfer to stardom. Londonboy
Youth loans are by far the most difficult to judge. Some of these young kids look world-beaters in the U23 but just can't handle it when they step up to senior football. For example Carra and Timmy seem to find the step up quite easy, Wellens who I thought would be a star is miles off it. I guess my point is if we are not penalised for trying out and looking at these players for a few weeks, and their clubs are paying their wages then I can't see any issue. If we manage to keep 2 or 3 good uns in Jan to the end of the season and they improve is then great.

Agree with the majority of this except it sometimes takes longer than a month for them to get to grips with the physical demand. McAlmont took at least 3 months, a lot of people wrote him off early doors and then from about December he was arguably our best player till the end of the season. Surely if they are one of Evertons best young players they will be pitched in at a higher level than the National League? I don't buy this clubs will do us a favour and these young players all have agents now who may object. Could be wrong of course.
Monty Burns
well yeah if youre gona get like that about it then Evertons best young player will probably be playin for Everton. l rephrase and say a good young player from Everton.
