    Ryan Seager at Southampton due to be back playing soon. Robinson should be sweet talking Saints into letting us loan him in Jan. Would be ideal.

    McLaughlin was great in the first half. Have high hopes for that right side with him & Dummigan. Are they both on international duty for Saturday v Wombles? Shame if so.

    Here's an idea. Why don't we offer Dale a figure they can't refuse to buy the services of Boris Johnston the Steward. Stick him in front of the Rocky. That, coupled with the reduced prices, will have fans packing out the RRE and generating a cracking atmosphere. I genuinely think that if people knew they could get pissed and sing Boris songs at every home game our attendances would increase, regardless of the poor football.

    I reckon we will 'have' been in for Toney. Apparently there were a couple of clubs after him and he is ex-Barnsley loan so Turnbull could be a link. And we were expected to bring in a striker today but no announcement could be due to him deciding to join Shrews instead.

    It'd be great if he orchestrated a Burton win over Donny on the last weekend to seal our safety. Well, actually it'd be torturous and nerve shredding if it actually came to that !

    Very surprised C.Brown was given pretty much a full half at right back in such a crucial game. Has he even played since his Bradford red card? Would have much preferred Dummigan slotting in at full back to keep defensive cohesion and Tuohy getting the second half in midfield.

    Feel exactly the same. Typical Latics to produce such massive highs followed by worrying lows. I'd have every confidence in the team that beat Swindon / Walsall to stay up. Not as confident if we end up relying on the likes of Brown, Mills and Croft to step in and make up the numbers. Hope Dom Poleon can make a reappearance soon.

    You gotta hand it to Shrewsbury, Fleetwood & Chesterfield. Giving it a right go recently and registering some eye catching score lines. I just hope Doncaster & Blackpool remain in a slump.
