  1. The minority can still be a lot. He did have a great game at Notts. C. though, I'll give him that. No point bothering now though as it looks like he won't play for us again.
  2. https://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2018/1207/1015845-jack-byrne-moves-to-shamrock-rovers/ 3 or 4 offers from England all more lucrative for him. He may be happier as a top dog in a team.
  3. A lot of his simple passes go astray.
  4. If another club signs him, they will probably regret it after a few months.
  5. Other players have been let go when their contracts end and they are injured. It's unfortunate, but it's one of the things that happen to footballers. He may be able to get payments from the union, FA or an insurance policy.
  6. Not much money to be made from this game. Had it been the other way around, then it would have had a very good chance of being on TV. The crowd will be low for them, around 10k I suspect.
  7. Woking or Barnet would do me. Another winnable game in round 4, then one of the big boys at home with TV money, or away for the attendance. Arsenal I think is the one which pays the most, but any of them away would reduce their entry prices. We could well make over £1m from a really good cup run.
  8. Stockport took over 1700 to Barnet. Fantastic turnout on a Sunday.
  9. It was listed on Bet365. I clicked on the game but got an error message saying they couldn't connect to the stream. It's disappeared from the list now.
  10. I was watching Football Focus and one of the Maidstone owners reckons they wouldn't be in existence without the plastic pitch. They make £500,000 a year from it.
  11. Yes and we have 3 youth players and a crock on the bench.
  12. 10 men usually are made tired by having to chase the ball when it's being passed around. Lincoln's tactics of hoof ball helped us. As for the ref he was awful, but I guess the lower in the league pyramid you go the worse they get, just like the players. There will be the odd good one, but they will no doubt get promoted to ref games in the Championship.
  13. He can only be recalled if it is either written into the contract (we don't know if it is or not), or both clubs agree. I guess the latter is used when a player isn't working out.
  14. AL must have made it worth his while to move up North. His goal keeping school is in Swindon.
  15. Why did we come out to the Chaddy end of the ground? The sun wasn't in their goalies eyes. Where was the commentator in the extended highlights? He reckoned there was driving rain in the 2nd. half. I didn't see any rain, did anyone else?
  16. Perhaps trying to (in his way) get back the penalty they cheated for.
  17. That's an instant red card. He's off the ground and out of control.
  18. Obviously Bournemouth didn't trust our medical team. No wonder with the amount of muscle problems we've had. Wasn't it LJ who said that muscle injuries shouldn't occur at all if the training was done properly.
  19. Bunn didn't know in his post match interview, but said they would know more after a scan. To me it didn't look like a break, I think he would have been far more distressed than he was. If it's tendon problems it could be worse than a break. Hopefully it's just bruising.
  20. Problem is he most probably hasn't. Lang will be wide left again on Saturday. COG often nods the ball on as he did last night, but when Surridge isn't their, none of the others are looking for it. Lang was.
