Just clicked on a random match ... then let it feed, we were some team in the late 80s early 90s and I am glad I was there to witness it. One thing cought my eye though as I was always and Andy Rhodes man ... Jon Halworth was a hell of a keeper and boy were we robbed by the noisy red lot with Irwin. I kicked off with the 2-2 SHeff wed draw .... and the teams commitment to each other was unbeleivable. We were never beaten .. we always had hope and played and attacked to the end of every game. Thanks Andy ... what a needed dive into my memories !!!

There is certainly some odd behaviour from AL,PS and the press whist I really wanted PS to succeed, he no longer affects OAFC, however AL does. Im not intereseted in the slightest if Scoles lied his arse off but I am very interested in AL continually giving snippets of truth shrouded in BS. I honestly dont ‘get it’ whats AL got to gain by lying, why does he feel the need, what the frigg is he doing in Oldham and what does he want. I suspect that there is more to the land takeover than meets the eye but thats in no way aimed at the trust. What happened to just going to see football, having a good shout and scream and a pint. All about money, money, money sadly I fear for football in the whole but especially the leagues below the championship. My personal message to AL is give me a reason to trust you and not doubt you. Just one !!!!!

As someone else said it wasn’t a corner .. and they were a yard offside in the build up. Linesman in front of the main stand was dreadful all game.Ref was .... terrible. Stats don’t lie though . We deserved a point. Not sure why Maouche was subbed.

From what I have seen this season, the plan is to use the two talented* midfielders to play through to a front two. This is failing as the man to pass to (miller) is not on the shoulder of the last defender, he is out wide as we have no proper width. Other than that we are ….. a bit shit … but I still cheer you on regardless.

Maybe this was the financial commitments he referred to in the statement. However the ‘all in it together’ bollocks is BS. I said this at the appointment of Bunn and Rhodes that years ago they wanted to manage OAFC. They talked about nothing the night I was sat near them in a restraunt. They were (are) living the dream. I can’t see Why that would change. Piss poor if you ask me. Neither position should be up for grabs.

In reality the game should have petered out to 0-0 as neither team deserved to win. The referee seemed not to understand the basics. Other than the RR crew the crouwd were basically silent. Pope and Vassell are dirty horrible slime (which I would have in our side in a heartbeat). We fell in to a sidways trap and when the movement forward was good enough the ball in was not. Heads went down when we didnt fluke an own goal.

This is sadly true, but I refuse to let it kick me off as I have spent over 15 years pn here JKL and the official message board. There is always a few bad apples there was then, its the banter I like and the sometimes tea spittingly funny comments made that makes it still a place to be... I find if a post is getting toxic I just dont read on.
