  1. I'm not one for feuds but it is a bit jarring when somebody posts a question, it's answered and the original poster seems oblivious to the reply. Best to just ignore some people's posts I guess.
  2. If I'd have been England manager Rashford would have been substituted after 20 minutes, looked totally disinterested. Too much Chuckle Brothers football..."to me to you"...just passing the ball back to the team mate who's passed to you ( where've I seen that before ! ). Only one's who looked as if they wanted to be there were Foden, Kane and Rice when he came on.
  3. Good goal but it does help when the goalie falls on his arse !!
  4. Where do they get these figures from ? Can't be the club and individuals aren't listed in the accounts so it must be guesswork at best.
  5. Me too. Hudson seems a bit too keen to come out of the penalty area at times.
  6. Green's injury may be worse than thought but good luck to Kofi, we need a bit of new blood!
  7. Not sure he can beat a man readily enough to play there but he's often our only outlet going forward at times. I would like to see him vary his crosses a little more, banging one in low now and again like on Saturday to enable Norwood and whoever to make near post runs ( which we virtually ignore as a team).
  8. Kitching is OK going forward but struggles to get back as it seems to take him a while to get his legs moving very similar to a left back we had 5 or 6 years ago whose name escapes me but went on to play for Birmingham? at a higher level. He was a decent footballer but made little attempt to regain his position if caught upfield. Kitching does try but is often caught out of position probably because he's our main forward pushing defender.
  9. Suppose you could argue that the defenders are a bit knackered later on in the game but it'd be a hard thing to quantify.
  10. The "shot on target" was wildly speculative and could have easily been saved by me and any of the other pensioners sitting in the stands and if you can't win a few headers when you've his physique you shouldn't be on the field. I do think he's well worth his place however, on the bench.
  11. Succinct and predictable as usual. Try posting on the odd occasion when we win !
  12. Surely the one head hunted would have a head start though !
  13. Some come on here to read first then post afterwards, some post first then read some of what's been posted. It's a lot easier doing the former rather than the latter as you tend not to ask questions that have already been answered.
  14. Mid-way through a season isn't the right time to be assessing whether 17 year olds are ready for first team action. If they are obviously ready no doubt an experienced youth team boss like Paul Murray will be in Mellon's ear.
  15. Several of last year's squad are training with the first team whilst on loan. Our squad is probably big enough without cluttering it up with youngsters who are very unlikely to figure in a team chasing the play-offs.
  16. He's a forward, they rely on wingers and midfielders to create chances !
  17. Wouldn't really call him a runner, more a stand-stiller till he gets the ball. Can score the odd spectacular goal but his work-rate is non-existent. Hopefully the first of several to give us a bit of wiggle room.
  18. Yes, Forshaw for one was pictured in the last training session.
