AL. On the plus side- He’s kept season tickets price on offer a lot longer than first thought. When he does speak, it’s articulate and professional. He’s put substantial amounts of money in, and says he committed ong term. On the down side- A lot is coming out and/or being leaked- but there’s two sides to every story. He hasn’t once come out an told us his vision. It seems its his way or the high way. . It’s a weird set up. The PR from the club is much better. But the PR about the club is as bad as ever, and there a lot more leaks under AL than there ever were under Corney. Its really hard to any grasp of what the actual fuck is going on.

If it’s Clarke. I would be very underwhelmed.

Yeah. Maybe AL was waiting to seal everything off wth Corney? Maybe the recent articles are something to do with it? Either way. I thought he was very, very lucky to still be in the job. Hopefully onwards and upwards.

Yeah, that’s where i am Steve. We’ll finally get to see if the ‘stability in the face of poor results brigrade’ are proved right. I genuinley hope they are, as it will mean we’re doing well. However my gut says he’ll be gone by Christmas.

Mmmm. The one saving grace with wellens, is he will hold AL’s feet to fire regarding another influx of French lads, I think he genuinely gives a shit about the club. Which is a good thing. But. We want a football manager as well, preferably one who wins more than he loses.

Very depressing. That does not in any way bode well. Ffs. But still, He did get a lot of his choices in Jan- and played them, so he can’t of been under massive pressure to play the French lads, because they’ve hardly figured. He never got the best out of Byrne or played him high up enough up the pitch. We lost our tactics/style very quickly. Two questions, 1. Do you now absolve wellens of any blame? 2. From your info, would you rather have SC or AL?

All we can assess is his games in charge, and for every 2 points dropped against the gills, there’s a point gained away at dale. When we deserved nothing. How are style and tactics different?? And again, for every individual mistake, there’s an individual bit of good play - Placide’s Penalty save at dale. On the pitch. An I stress on the pitch, our tactics, (style) and team selection have been woeful.

People need to accept that it’s culamative effect. Corney. Cheap/Bad appointments. Shez rescues. Cheap/bad appointments. Shez rescues. New man/New ideas/power struggle. Divided club. The ‘french lads’ Rookie Manager out of his depth. When you look at us over the last 3 season in particular, we’ve been a disaster waiting to happen. BUT. Having said all that we still had a good enough squad to stay up IMO. It is in part the way the club has been run, and a manager who hasn’t done the buisnees. IF. We get a solid manager, and the squad is invested in the same it has been this year- WITH THE PLAYERS THE MANGERS WANTS. We could do well next year. Unfortunatley i just see more kamkazie stewardship and very high player turnover.

Gutted. Absoluley gutted. The truth is though folks, that we’ve had this coming for years. Wellens needs to go immediately, (he could and should of done better) but when the dust settles the whole club needs to take a long look at how we are run. Otherwise the abyss beckons. Im off to get leathered.
