OAFC_ULTRA
I was there last night and didnt see anything that looked as though there had been a fight. When I was leaving at about 10.35ish Shez and Greegs were stood outside. Shez went back in but the bouncer wouldnt let Greegs back in and I heard him say he had had an argument. Thats all I saw/heard and tbh it seems like nothing much. TBH I think its pretty sad that the club put on what was a good night were supporters and players/staff can get together and have a drink and then as soon as the night is over the clubs forum has a story of someone hit someone. Did anyone actually see this happen? I doubt it as it probably never happend Edited March 4, 2009 by OAFC_ULTRA
dave_ragg1984
being sued for defamation of character can be an expensive joke. Not gonna happen though is it?

Lags
What I want to know is where was Windass?. Also whereas I only have this one members account I am sure there's quite a few with more. Now the starter of this topic may well fall into the later category and not wishing to be known as the outer due to being known. Radical thought like I know and who would want to hide their identity. It's not uncommon for a dislike of someone in a bunch of work colleagues.

Thats all I saw/heard and tbh it seems like nothing much. so all that really happened is that the club captain, who alledgedly masturbates in chip shops, alledgedly drink drives, has a hard man reputation with an uncontralable temper, and was sold by his previous club because he couldnt get on with the manager, was alledgedly thrown out of a public club event by the security staff? lucky he isnt called craig davies, eh? garcon
It all started when Taylor said his hotdog was bigger than Gregan's chipolata. Allegedly.
Lags
http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/sub/T...1577455,00.html There you go. Someone called Mr Gregan, Mr Slow. That'll be it.

Gaz_Oafc
I was there too, I didn't see (or hear of) any fight or anything, But as most people were leaving i did see gregan being led away by the security staff with shez in tow, shez then left gregan outside and went back up. There was then a bit of pushing as gregan tried to get back inside, but the bouncers were having none of it, he then got on the phone to someone and kept saying ''iv done nothing wrong'' What ever went on he wasn’t best pleased for being chucked out!! It was a good night, well worth the £15. Most of the players were there (not windass). There didn’t seem to be any of this so called dressing room split to me (bar this 'alleged' fight) Hughesy was enjoying himself, shouting from one end of the room to players at the other end (until tommy wright got hold of him and took him away lol)

johnny punkster
I heard that he then went on to visit a Tesco Extra ahhh, but his downfall was being caught eating a chicken burger in macdonalds... forgetting to buy a bag of carrot sticks was the final straw. jsslatic
Bearing in mind Tayls cries when he scores, doesn't get a penalty or is hit in the face with the ball, it wouldn't surprise me if he was just upset that the bar had run out of crisps. Matt
As usual, the perception of a night out after a few sherbets has resulted in this thing having more angles than a protractor.

Hometownclub
I've just watched the Crossley interview on LW and there does appear to be a real lack of team spirit, morale and what appears to be massive divisions within the squad from what he says at the end of the interview. R.O.A.M
Yeah, they all seem to have crumbled within 24 hours. People who know me well enough know I have sources from within who can confirm the story or deny it. It's all 100% true, it's actual fact. It happened that night. Gregan gripped Taylor threw him against the wall, Hughes & Shez step in and are ejected.
walneysld
I was there last night. And although I didnt see any fisty-cuffs , I did see as I was leaving... Hughes, escorted out of the players 'banqueting' room by Crossley , to be met by a security man and told to leave. Crossley then took Hughes to the top of the stairs and as I passed I heard Hughes stating 'its not f'in right, I didnt do anything'. Crossley was trying to calm him down. As I exited into the car park, all the security were buzzing around and Gregan was stood on his own outside leaning against a wall... Earlier in the night Hughes had been 'mingling' and having his picture took with fans etc.. He then sat at one of the tables near me and started shouting (top of his voice) 'Anarchy' or something like that at all the other players. Then, Tommy Wright came down and 'had a word' then a bit later , Someone from Belle Vue came down and asked him to leave... He just had a laugh and tried to kiss her and had his photo took with her. No bad problems there then, infact Hughes was about the only player who got amongst us plebs and talked to people. I wont mention the inncident with him walking out of the gents with his old fella out...!! All in all a great night and no major story to tell..
