Don't have a clue how we played but I'm delighted with a win. Let's get some points on the board now and get this god awful season behind us.

At this moment and for the next 10 games or so, the way we play isn't important, the results are. As long as we are winning and climbing the table we're ok.

Wonderful result, and from the sounds of the (albeit biased) Latics Plater commentry we deserved it.

Another clean sheet (which given the clown like defending at the end of last season and the start of this DP should take credit for) and a goal for Abbot (where would we be if he hadn't been out injured).

Leyton Orient are 11th on 36 points, 6 points ahead of us and having played 3 more games. Its easy to get down after bad results and high afer good ones, but we are a few extra goals away from being a comfortable mid-table team this season.

thats the spirit.....

although not wanting to get carried away,1 win doesnt make or break a season,it is still a very good win and 3 points away from home, and will provide the team with a physcologic boost that we are now out of the bottom 4.

the team need to build on this result and move away from the danger zone

well done to the team....sorry to those who wanted a loss, penny is staying.

Surely no-one wanted a loss?

Regardless of whether anyone believes Penney is a failure, no Latics fan would want them to lose such an important game?

Jesus. Relegation surely would be the end of us.

Important win and nice to climb out of the bottom four, but I'll not be getting carried away. We've got a tough run of congested fixtures coming and one win against a team as **** as us isn't enough to convince me we'll avoid relegation.

our fixtures coming up:

swindon (A)

walsall (H)

colchester (A)

leeds (A)

norwich (H)

4 of those teams are in the top 6.
