just a geniuine question, why would you want to buy the club ?

it has nothing going for it. it would be a stupid move and a big waste of money.

2) i love the club

3) i even cheat on football manager 2011 so we have lots of cash and can buy decent players in our league etc to win promotion

4) im sure oldham wouldnt cost me 120 mil

€120m = £100m.

£20m set aside for personal use. Wild women, cars, holidays, mansions and the like.

£4m to repay Blitz (including the £1.00 needed to actually buy the club).

£10m to buy all the land associated with Boundary Park.

£16m to tart the place up a bit.

£50m left over, invested in trust, to generate a return of £1.5m a year (rising at 2%pa) to subsidise the day to day operations of the football club.

Sorted.

I feel you are skimping on the wild women budget a little.

From Southampton Daily Echo:

As revealed by the Daily Echo, the St Mary’s boss had enquired about Reading midfielder Brian Howard.

But the former Saints trainee has since ruled out a move back to his first club, instead choosing to remain at the Royals and help their bid to reach the Premier League.

Saints are also rumoured to be interested in Oldham midfielder Dale Stephens, while the club has supposedly scouted Hartlepool’s Gary Liddle as well.

Adkins has admitted he has spoken to a number of managers about potential targets, but he was remaining coy over whether Saints would make any moves before this afternoon’s deadline.

definition of a selling club is a club that needs to sell to survive.

man united, man city, chelsea, madrid, barca, inter, bayern are not !

United had to sell Ronaldo to make stab at balancing the books...
