Obviously wish Alan well but some errors in the thread, you certainly wont get an all clear with prostate cancer so a false hope just another 6 month or three month check up. Have years of experience with it with my dad and father in law who lost his battle in 2010. Tend to put people on hormones and steroids/other combos of chemo to slow down the growth of the tumour. MANY live years without knowing they have it and why a simple PSA blood test essential for anyone with a family history or over 50. Many people manage it really well and live a normal life but it doesnt go away conveniently.

Much depends if it has got in your bones and your initial Gleeson score of how active your cells are. Healthy eating, common sense and regular 3/6 month checks.

I could pick apart this post bit by bit, but it's not the right place nor the right time to do so and frankly I can't be arsed either.

So I hope it's a clean bill of health for Alan and judging by how well he was looking in Saturday I am hopeful it will be.
