Not alot, looking at signing strikers now with the defence and midfield sorted. Smith could go since we've sold players every season, Wes was a great pro and didn't leave for money but LJ wanted something different and he got a good deal at Shrews, . Stand won't be ready for the start of the season but we don't need it to be since we haven't got 12000 fans every week, hopefully it will done for Jan so we can fill the ground when Liverpool come in the FA Cup. Stand will be a big boost for the town with the conference and banqueting facitlites which Oldham doesn't have, council are doing a great job for oldham with the building work around the town

Thanks.

The midfield is sorted?! But yes a striker is a priority.

Is Monty's reference to the Supporters Bar from the interview or just a general point?

Needn't bother with seats at all then on that basis, give it to Fat Mike and let him build a megastore there.

No but prioritising what will probably make the most money in the short term in more important.

We've all got a seat elsewhere, so it's not crucial as it stands. Get the shops in, the executive bits finished then stick some seats in.

Supporters bar first, though.

My thoughts too re the midfield. With LJ mentioning that Winchester may be off on loan this season I'd hope that he's looking at bringing in two wingers/wide players before the start of the season.

My main point on the new stand. Why wasn't it put out to tender. Get the best price and a more experienced stadia contractor

Blaming bad weather for delays and that costs money well don't start building in :censored:ing December!!

Exactly (bull:censored:), other than future commercial losses for the "6 week weather delay" the only real costs would be the preliminary costs, which given there doesnt appear to be any site cabins or welfare, the plant could have been off hired, and the director is a Tics fan so with some nudge nudge wink winking should drop any project management costs, overall the costs would be minimal. The main reason behind the increase as I can see (which is normal), is the job appears to be Design & Build. The club have confirmed that they are constantly changing the designs and materials used in the construction. Basically the job will have been priced with a load of provisional sums and once the club/Corney decides what he wants with regards to brickworks, cladding, glazing, internal fitout the contractor will pepper the club with change costs which the club arent in a position to turn down as it appears they havent got any private companies in as an advisory position and the client will bum Corney on contractual issues. Corney went in blind without any real idea of what he was paying for, just that something was being built!

If the costs are above his budget, then the construction could well come to a grinding halt
