Ben Henegan was in the Droylsden team that played our youths at the Butchers Arms. Apparently he was on loan from Stoke at Droylsden at the end of last season and was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch for every match, both teams included.

For what it's worth, he came on at half time against our youths and dominated.

Henegan, tall and slim really looks the part, pity Kilheeney is now getting on, he sure knows where the net is.

As for todays game, James Wilson and Dieng superb at centre back, how long can we keep them for is the question?

The 4-3-3 didn't work and much better once changed to 4-4-2 with Winchester excelling wide right.

A 25 yard worldy from Clarke- Harris too, ignoring LJs instruction to get in the 6 yard box.

Wilson, Dieng, Dayton & Winchester stood out for me. JCH quiet and ineffective bar the absolute worldie.

Jones looked better in a midfield 2, as did Kelly.

Would still have Brown over B Wilson though.
