HarryBosch
Will he go 3-5-2? Rachubka J Wilson Kusunga Elokobi Winchester Jones Kelly Dieng Mills Forte Clarke Harris Or Rachubka Wilson Wilson Kusunga Mills Winchester Kelly Jones Forte Philliskirk Clarke Harris Difficult - I can't see Brian Wilson not starting. is Elokobi fit enough? If he is would he start at LB instead of Mills. Surely Mills starts, somewhere? Forte on the wing or upfront? Again, is he match for? Is Philliskirk? Crusoe
I wonder if he'll prefer a 4-4-2 after his comments last week. Rachubka Wilson Elokobi Kusunga Wilson/Dieng Winchester/Forte Kelly Jones Mills Forte/Philliskirk Clarke-Harris Complete guesswork. No idea if he'd try that. HarryBosch
No Dayton ? I think he'll use Hamez from the bench.
Crusoe
No Dayton ? On the bench for me. Him and perhaps Winchester to come on as subs.
Fergie
We have some strength and depth this year, hard to pick a first
sjk2008
Dayton must start. Decent pre season and he's a confidence player.
cornishblue
4-1-4-1 for me, with the flexabilty to change to a 3-5-2 or 4-3-3 depanding on match circumstances. One good thing about the squad this season is that we are not short of options to change formation or style of play either from the bench or starting XI. Simpo
Colcheter are expected to line up with a 4-2-3-1, so I reckon we'll go 4-1-4-1 so as not to be over-run in midfield. Rachubka B.Wilson Kusunga J.Wilson Mills Dieng Jones Kelly Dayton Forte Clarke-Harris And we can always change it if it's not quite right. I would not be at all surprised to see Brown, Elokobi, Winchester, Philliskirk start either. Competition for places!
leeslover
Looking at all the options we have across defence and midfield is great, but it sort of makes me a bit uneasy about how much we need a big season from JCH. Hope he's up to the challenge.
slystallone
Not too sure how he'll go; but gut says 4-1-4-1 as per the end of last season. As to how he goes player wise, again, not too sure how he goes there either but IMO, the likes of Winchester and Dayton would be hard to not include after decent pre-seasons. Rachubka B Wilson J Wilson Kusunga Mills Dieng Dayton Kelly Jones Winchester JCH ....if he's going 4-1-4-1 that's how i'd hope he'd go. nzlatic
I'll have a stab at it and think he'll go for as much experience and flexibility as possible. It's hard to pick a starting 11 mind and I'm not sure even what formation I've put them in. 5-2-3? 5-4-1? 5-2-2-1? 3-4-3? 3-4-2-1? It's years since I played champ man. Rachubka B Wilson J Wilson Kusunga Elekobi Mills Kelly Jones Dayton Forte Clarke-Harris

oldhamoafc
Got a feeling it will be the same team that was when he changed tactics against Huddersfield. Rachubka Wilson Dieng Wilson Mills Winchester Jones Kelly Dayton Forte JCH Bench of: Coleman Brown Elokobi Mellor Gros Philliskirk Morgan Smith (if fit, Bove if not)

oafckev
Always tough pre season but this year there are many options available and I doubt anyone will get the starting XI correct. I just hope Johnson knows his ideal 11 as the last 10 games of last season proved that a settled team leads to promotion form.My shout would be:GK: RachubkaCB's: Wilson --- Elokobi --- WIlsonRB / Attacking option if required: BrownLB / Attacking option if required: Mills Mid: Jones, Kelly, Forte (switch positions as per strengths etc) Att: Philliskirk & JCHBench:ColemanLockwoodKusunga DaytonWinchesterGros

L1onheartNew
As long as we get three points and with a little style, I will be happy. The bench looks excellent with lots of depth and cover in all positions. #veryoptimistic
