whittles left foot
Definite hint of a spare tyre around the midriff but smaller than Rochdales goalie.
ShireBlue
Although he didn't see a lot of the ball, he did a lot of organizing, always barking out orders. What a game to make your debut in.
BP1960
What shape was he looking in yesterday? As I was ball-following I can't say I ever got a sight of him... Looked no different than he did at other clubs, solid I would say.
deyres42
Did enough to make the FLP team of the week... It's only one game and he had nowt to do but thought he brought an assurance to the defending that maybe hasn't always been there in recent weeks - would like to think he could be a Gregan-esque type signing. That would be two with George.
disjointed
He certainly has a presence about him. At his best he was a damm good keeper, no reason to think he has lost too much of his ability.
Diego_Sideburns
What shape was he looking in yesterday? As I was ball-following I can't say I ever got a sight of him... Alan Howarth's pictures include one of Paddy. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/gallery-rochdale-2114498.aspx
slystallone
Yep, smaller in frame than Mark Crossley was with us. And after initial doubts, Crossley turned out to be a very decent signing for us.
NewBlue
Alan Howarth's pictures include one of Paddy. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/gallery-rochdale-2114498.aspx Thanks. He's always been a stocky build but still looks like he's lost a lot of weight since the picture of him at Leeds in preseason. If we defend as resolutely as yesterday then I can't imagine he'll need to do much in most games anyway...
Gaz_Oafc
I was quite impressed with the way he threw/rolled the ball out as soon as he had a hold of it yesterday. Always looking to set us off on the counter. Edited November 30, 2014 by Gaz_Oafc
LaticsPete
He looked confident and calm - though I don't recall that he had to come for any crosses so still to be assessed on that
Diego_Sideburns
He dived low to his left and held a shot at full stretch in the second half.

He isn't disastrously fat, but he isn't a whippet either. Speed and reflex saves were his thing, time will tell Edited November 30, 2014 by leeslover
rosa
What shape was he looking in yesterday? He's no Filipino underwear model.
Postman Matt
Rochdale's goalkeeper wouldnt have looked out of place in a scrum at Twickenham.

4froale
he looked a lot slimmer than he did in those pre season pictures at leeds.
Simoncorneyisgod
Whilst he had nowt to do it was good to see him talking.....couple of times in the first half when they got dangerous crosses in he was straight out to Wilson and Jones inparticular to note the error of their ways
Chaddy_Ender
Who wants Chubs back in then ? Was he doing that much wrong, would the loan money of been better spent on an outfield player ?
