ghostofcecere
To the chorus of Oldham's very own Inspiral Carpets tune, "Song for a Family"........ So this is how it feels to be Rochdale, This is how it feels to be small, This is how it feels when your fans don't travel at all

Given its a pretty decent tune for a football chant I am surprised we haven't tried to adopt this as a more mainstream chant for the team - unless I have missed it. deyres42
How about, to the tune of Brimful of Asha: "We saw a handful of Dale fans on the 409" That's actually quite good, hasn't been recycled from a Man Yoo song though so got no chance of taking off. Chaddy_Ender
Quite like that. Given its a pretty decent tune for a football chant I am surprised we haven't tried to adopt this as a more mainstream chant for the team - unless I have missed it. The tune is used with the following lyrics This is how it feels to be Yorkshire This is how it feels to be sad This is how it feels when your sisters shaggin your dad, shaggin your dad, shaggin your dad. Clifford
"Town full of paedos" was popular at theirs. "Cyril Smith bummed your dad" was a bit OTT.

NewBlue
Are any of the members of Inspiral Carpets Tics? I've always thought it'd be good to make some chants from a few of their songs considering their Oldham heritage. Although the This Is How It Feels song is already overused by every club. United and City included... And Bravo for the 409 one. Brilliant. Edited January 20, 2015 by NewBlue

I've seen Graham Lambert at BP a number of times, but I think he's more of a cricket fan than football.Maybe he could come up with some lyrics for us seen as its his song
