cornishblue Posted June 3, 2015 Author Share Posted June 3, 2015 Just looked up DJ Campbell Can't believe he played the back end of last season for Maidenhead United is that due to the fact he couldn't sign / play for another league team post his release from Millwall like Lockwood prior to signing for us, or is just due to the fact he is that crap these days? wouldn't have thought he was the target man solution, but we could get him on the cheap if he is playing at that level. Pro's: Should be cheap Holds the ball up very well Always gives our defence problems when he plays against us (scored a belter last season at our place) Bags of experience i.e. good guy to have in the dressing room, not necessarily as a 1st team starter Played a full season with Crofty at St Johnstone Cons: He's getting on a bit (33) Not sure what his injury situation is at present That is my suggestion, for what it's worth.
