Certainly a lot of potential. Judging by his Twitter acocunt, he was released on June 10th.

Hoepfully feels he has something to prove. Big Joe was obviously a key in this deal, nice of him.

A couple of skilful crossers of the ball that can bomb down the flanks too and we could have the flair attacking formation DK wants and the fans are hoping for.

We will always be a club that feeds off better teams left overs...

We have a decent record in this respect...there must be an under lying issue that he hasn't fulfilled his potential with Everton though...hopefully he can apply himself again at a lower level

Looks a good prospect from what I've seen scored a belter for Tranmere least season on his debut on loan, looks to have decent feet, but can he do it on a cold Tuesday night in Southend ? interesting to see if he can make the step up to League 1 first team football here's hoping, could also generate a decent fee in the future if he's any good

He made the best debut[on loan for the last 6 games last season] most of us could ever remember seeing at Tranmere-ran the game and scored a fantastic equaliser at the end. He was a class above any other player on the pitch. Then he realised that the rest of the team were crap and tried to do everything by himself[not passing when others in good areas etc] The opposition then put extra players on him in the remaining games and the other players were not good enough to exploit the extra space this created for them . Hence we are where we are.

If you can get him to play more as a team player and not just for himself then he'll be a great signing. Joe Royle and David Unsworth were in the stand at the home games watching his performances but there are many comments on the Everton sites about alleged ''personal problems''. Good luck to George and you-I hope it works out well for you and him.
