tringerlatic42
What an incredible contest this is turning out to be- with nearly all players showing Jekyl & Hyde characteritics - Nathan Lyon being the leading Aussie wicket taker etc. I have the bad luck to have bought 2 tickets for tomorrow Edgbaston to see around an hours play if lucky! Is anyone else going? we can meet for beers if so and discuss the exciting new season at OAFC
Frankly Mr Shankly
Sounds a bit crazy this but if the Aussies build up a 120 run lead up or so England losing could be a realistic bet.

Can't help feeling a little nervous about that. Perhaps you could stick a few of the Aussie bowlers on some kill list?

They only really have 1 bowler, mind you he is quite a good one!
daniel
They only really have 1 bowler, mind you he is quite a good one! Everyone seems to forget about lyon, he is very underrated and is leading wicket taker in the series. That is me presuming you are on about mitchell johnson mind. Hes got one of them faces i'd love to punch, but yea, what a player.
Stevie_J
To be fair, on their day, this England team could probably get themselves in all kinds of trouble with my kids bowling underarm at them.
daniel
Well we do have an annoying habit of throwing wickets away. Im nervous watching us chase 121 to win, cook out early aswell. Surely we cannot throw this one away?

daniel
Lyon is rubbish! Mitchell Johnson is bloody frightening and a great entertainer He's definately not rubbish, he's playing international cricket at the highest level, and is leading wicket taker in the series, he was 3-3 at one stage yesterday bowling excellent deliveries. Im not saying he's on the same stage as warne or muralitharan but he's not a bad spin bowler and has improved a lot these last 2-3 years. Crusoe
I dunno. Australia still have a better strike rate than Postman Matt's transfer rumours. Although it's close.
peanuts
apparently after todays first session there a new game going around similar to those where you find your porn /starwars/fantacy name . its called find your Australian name its real easy just add b.Broad after your sir name and you will be a true Aussie e.g. D.Kelly b.Broad

beag_teeets
One of the most feared bowlers of recent times, true absolute knee knocking pace. Also got into batsmen's heads and try as I might I couldn't dislike him. But that could be due to McGrath turning out to be such a nice bloke and I hated him when he played. Some of Johnson's bowling spells against us were fearsome, for all the stuff above about b. Broad - b. Johnson was how to do it consistently. The game will miss him, shame he lost so many innings to injury.
Hometownclub
A real competitor and genuine pace, as an England fan I'm not sad to see him retire, but as a cricket fan I am. TBH I'm not a fan of those round arm actions, but in fairness to him he's nowhere near as bad as Malinga.
