The covers will be on and all the snow will be gone by tomorrow morning anyway.

My only concern is that i thought we looked a bit jaded on Tuesday !!!

Jaded, they will have of done nothing for 3 days, if the players are tired they need a reality check and see how they manage in the NHS A&E.

30cm snow on the grass outside my office (hospital), the roads on-site are terrible and the snow plough cant keep up with the snow. Its snowed heavily non-stop even when the forecast said it should be raining.

"The Met Office yellow warning for snow and ice is in place until 3pm this afternoon (Friday)...But while it should stop falling from the sky, cold temperatures and a lack of rain on Saturday and Sunday means the sledging, snowman-building and snowball-throwing fun will last a while longer. Saturday will be sunny but still cold, with highs of just 7C, so any snow that has settled should remain."

Totally clear here in Warrington. Was about an inch deep before. Let's hope it gets warmer a bit further East!

Doesn't the snow act as frost cover? So no point clearing away the snow to then have to put the frost covers back on.

If there is a chance the snow needs to be cleared for the game to be on tomorrow, I'd expect the call for helpers to go out later tonight for tomorrow morning.

They've also got to consider the car park, access roads, and pavements.
