palmer1
Anybody still think he does nothing but run round like a headless chicken!? Our most important player by a mile! Palmer is not the answer if he doesn't have the right support along side him...
losesome
We need to win the next 2 home games to justify him being on bench today!!!
kowenicki
Most obvious and pointless thread evahhhh If he had played we would have likely still lost today. On to Tuesday and hoping for a fresh and up for it Kelly. Hindsight is an exact science.

NewBlue
It was an experiment. We've learnt to rely on the evidence of last season, that Kelly is the difference between losing badly and not losing badly.
deyres42
I'm not sure that not playing Kelly was the problem, more the pairing of Palmer and Winchester.

palmer1
It was an experiment. We've learnt to rely on the evidence of last season, that Kelly is the difference between losing badly and not losing badly. It wasn't an experiment. It was to make sure he was available for more 'winnable' fixtures.
bigfatjoe1
Common sense move. Couldn't risk losing him. Said for a long time that it's the one position we can't cover with the current squad. We're always better with Kelly, or should i say, we're always worse without him. Think we should've gone 4-5-1 today. Think it was tactically inadequate. We might benefit from a short arsed recreational drug user who has been pushed out of his present club. Go on Sheffield, sack him.

Matt60
Surely it was simply to avoid Kelly picking up a yellow and missing two crucial games where as now as of today he can get booked 6 more times before he picks up a ban due to the league extending the number of cards before a ban after Saturday.. L1onheartNew
Very astute move imo. Destroy Blackpool and clatter Philli's legs. Worth the booking. Hit Dale for six and we are almost there

Monty Burns
But one of these days he might recieve a red, he walks a fine line. That isn't worthy of a but. He starts the next game, an actual six pointer. THAT is the point, the whole point and nothing but the point.
