losesome
Surely no one buys a football club as a sound business venture, so who knows. Old saying - How do u make a £mill out of a football club- Put £2 Mill in !!!
ChaddySmoker
I wonder what Bob Geldof's answer would be if approached? cough.............
LeylandLatic
Wasn't the theory bein that SOD is a DOF but he doesn't want the job title. Perhaps he just wants to keep a low profile. So he is SODDOF?
GlossopLatic
So he is SODDOF? SOD DOF indeed that should be his title.
singe
Rumour of an Irish group.Isn't that just people assuming because SOD is involved less clearly, and putting two and two together?

BP1960
Isn't that just people assuming because SOD is involved less clearly, and putting two and two together?Rory McIlroy links indicate he would be par for the course, we would be the right club for him. Go and hook him Anthony Gee. Edited July 22, 2016 by BP1960
SavageTheBeast
What I've been told about SOD he does not want a job title and does not want to manage again. The last few roles he's failed, all he wants to do is coach and develop players which he is very good at.

leeslover
Irish owners would be worth it just to see a certain protest member about turn and start a, "Keep the Jews," campaign

Frankly Mr Shankly
To be honest, I think OAFC have been a Divine Comedy for ages now.
bigfatjoe1
It's the pogues. Apparently retrieving the rights to a fairytale of New York from TTA I love the Pogues, but they're English. I'd also love the Corrs. :censored:, those women are very good looking. U2 are great in the musical sense. Bob Geldof is a bit :censored:. Dana was nice. Daniel O' whatsisface was very successful, but a bit boring (unless you're a 65+ year old woman). Terry Wogan, Val Hooligan and Phil Lynott are sadly passed. Who does that leave? Some dodgy race horse owner who has connections with Alex don't call me Taggart Fergusson. Still, i love Ireland, especially the Catholic bit.... oafc1955
Had to laugh at this comment from Gee in the Chron....... "There is always interest from the Far East. They are football crazy. But it needs shrewd people with football brains and it's not easy to come in to a club they don't know of previously. Just like our present board then lol......shrewd people with football brains!!
