Bit of a contradiction this part of the thread, we mostly have castigated Corney for selling and selling with the benefit of hindsight too cheaply, but plenty now happy to sell.

So, which players should we keep for a promotion push either this season or next?

Plenty being just Yarddog?

Looking forward to watching Big George help to turn over the plastics tonight.

Arguably at fault for Wigan’s goal. That’s the sort of difference between League 1 and the Conference. Hopefully it is a good learning experience for him.

Hardly at fault, I'd put that down to decent play between Byrne and Grigg, was a good goal.

Defo at fault let his man cross him....played well except for that.

Not sure if this is the right thread for It, but Bristol City are keen on Kean Bryan..

Be surprised if that interested him particularly as they have Flint and Baker as a pretty solid regular partnership at the back, also can't see him being keen on uprooting to the West Country given where his missus works if the best he might be in for is the bench.

We've completed the signing of Patrick McEleney on a free transfer this morning - set to be announced officially soon... this from a good source who knows his League of Ireland.

Unfortunately some bad news in the atricle to temper the good news of him signing. It says Paul Cook wants Byrne back at Wigan and we are unable to compete with the fee or personal terms Scunthorpe are offering forDoyle.
