This game absolutely typifies why we need a striker, we played some great football tonight, we looked like a team. Adams put so many good crosses in the box and no one in the box. KDK got on the end of a couple and should have buried them but with a striker this game would have been over at half time. If this isn't sorted we go down simple as that.

You can say “we need a striker” but DKD has missed two sitters that anyone could score. The luck is going against us and no signing with our budget will change anything.  This is just how it is sometimes… we need to accept relegation and perhaps administration.

Probably time to start thinking in those terms.

Play badly? Lose.  Play well? Lose.

Obvious statement that we need a striker, but where are are we going to get one of them from?  And who's fault is it?

I honestly think that we will survive by 12-15 points in the end.

It has taken nearly half a season, but we finally looked like a team.

So ,  about this cricket.

Ha. Most of the locals predictably think whitewash, but without any real conviction, as they feel that for the first time in a long time, we have a chance at the Gabba. It has been pouring down for weeks and everything is green. Overcast as well. Ideal swing conditions. If we win this week, it changes everything.

Woakes will be critical without Jimmy.

Any other day we win it playing like that. Great difference in performance tonight than under Curle. Absolute sitters missed, hit bar, disallowed goal, should have had a pen maybe.

Play like we did against Sunderland and Tranmere every week we piss staying up

Are we playing better than under Curle? Yes

Are results better than under Curle? No

Are we scoring? No

Can you stay up without scoring? No

Are we going to be able to sign a striker worthy of the name under the embargo? No

There's no way I can be optimistic when we're relying on Hope and the Gingerbread Man for goals.
