Very impressive in a team that was nowhere near going up and a club that was a shambles off it.

And in a team that unbelievably finished 2nd highest goal scorers and was only pipped for top spot on the very last game of the season. What a strange season that was!! What a strange season that was!! It certainly was - we managed to lose 15 out of 23 home games in the league that season, finished with 20 home points and 34 away. latics22
Anyone know the stats with Gardner and without? I’m sure someone posted not that long ago and the results were a lot better with him in the team.

Londonboy
Considering our striking options in MM words our "fab four," it's a bit piss poor that only Halifax out of the top half of the table have scored fewer goals than us. Our lack of goals may be our undoing come the end of the season.

Which again is a symptom of playing 7-1-2, all four of them and probably others including Reid would bag plenty in a team set up to have a go.
