pinevillawill
Scottish media reporting that we're after Iain Vigurs from Ross County. Hasn't been offered a new deal and his current contract is up at the end of the month. Could this be the player Johnson's shaken hands with? Stevie_J
Surprised Ross County are letting him go. If we do sign him, with Dayton and Baxter, we'll have three freekick specialists.

Another left sided midfielder though. That would be 3 in Montano Dayton and Vigurs

pinevillawill
Just read an article quoting him as 'one of the stars of the SPL last season'. Sounds like Rangers are sniffing.
Gaz_Oafc
Ross County fans reckon he could do so much better than us. They reckon he's after a lot more than Ross County can offer and thats why he's off. Good enough for the championship, recently linked with us, sheff utd and hudders. Seems to be a top player in their eyes

Does anyone know how Football Manager obtain their ratings, and are they supposed to be reasonably accurate ? http://footballmanagerstory.com/scout/2012/06/fm-2012-league-one-player-profile-iain-vigurs/

That would of course mean playing in the third tier of Scottish football though.

Has Johnson linked the man he's shaken hands with to the player coming in before Friday or are they two separate people?

It could still be him (although personally I doubt it). He could sign a contract to join us from 1 July. As far as I remember, no player can be registered to their new club until July anyway (unless they're already out of contract). Like Dayton. oafc1955
daytons contract isn't up until the end of the month is it? After rejecting a new three-year contract at Kilmarnock, rendering him a free-agent, Dayton joined Oldham Athletic on 20 May 2013 signing a two-year contract,
Crusoe
I think you can sign what you like, but the contract presumably doesn't start until July and his registration won't be transferred until then.
ZiggaZaggaAthletic
Few vids: (Great Freekick) (great volley and positioning) (looks to have great ball control, sweet strike) (nice tap in) and my favourite, a sweet sweet left foot strike v celtic
