Edmundson named in League 2 Team of the Season.

😉

Still not rated by some on here :petesake:

Fully deserved and has really benefitted from playing alongside Peter Clarke this season, strong finish to the season should see him get the move he deserves.

Improved massively. Really pleased with how he's come on this season

He has been alright, but does he deserve team of year? We have conceded 48 goals. Anyway, it increases his fee, so AL will be happy he signed Sefil

...that lad that Ashton United sent back to us [if indeed that is what transpired] after 2 matches? Sounds well exciting.

I heard 3K, from a good source, the exact words were "3K a week and the fucker can't run"

....I wonder how much of any weekly salary is paid to the Agent of such a player for finding us their gem?

According to this website, Vera is registered to an Agency called Football Promotions (Scotland) Ltd, yet curiously they seem to have a lot of Spanish nationals registered to them.

A William McMurdo appears the only person with significant control, after Helma McMurdo, resigned 5 years ago.

William McMurdo, now 75 and presumably at the end of his career, was the Agent to George Best and brokered Mo Johnston's controversial transfer to Rangers, amongst others it would seem.....

https://sportcareersagency.com/news/bill-mcmurdo-15-07-2016

The article also explains his Spanish connection "These days much of McMurdo's work is done in La Liga where he guides a stable of 20 players and coaches after forging a relationship with Spanish agent Jose Manuel."

I wonder what - if any - Mr. McMurdo's relationship or indeed Mr. Jose Manuel's relationship, financial or otherwise, is with our owner, or indeed the Managing Director of Sport2JLT, a Mr. Omar Lemsagam.

This appears to be Mr. McMurdo's twitter account @williammcmurdo if anyone [politely] fancies asking him....?

There's quite a lot of agents you wonder if there is a link.
It was widely reported that AL had to give up his agency to his other brother at the time of his takeover. Doesn't stop him having undue influence of course.

Threes's a better centre forward for Harrogate tonight on TV v Salford, probably on a fraction of that.

I assume this is Mr. Jose Manuel's agency....

...is it me.... and this could be pure co-incidence..... or does his website look very similar to Mr. Omar Lemsagam's?

I'll tell you what, Juan Mata's old fella loves his Paella too.

In his only interview to date, Vera said he had a mate up the road.... I assumed he meant Ander Herrera because of the Bilbao link, but maybe he meant Mata through his dad’s agency / Mr. McMurdo’s. Either way, the whole thing is murky as fk.

Watched FC United v York City last night (good game to be fair it finished 3-3) York had Jon Parkin starting up front, must be 20 stone plus but still put himself about before being substituted at half time, best player on the pitch for me though was Kurt Willougby who is better than any forward that we've currently got under contract, pacey, good movement and took his goal really well, will be playing at an higher soon enough for sure. If we had any sort of scouting network I would recommend this lad is looked at.

Great seeing them fuck up a 3-1 lead against 10 men too.
