Does anyone know why we went back to red and white hoops 1946-48'?

Edit: just read the blurb at the bottom of the page "Immediately after the Second World War, Oldham turned out in red and white hooped jerseys borrowed from their neighbours, Oldham RLFC, presumably because the traditional shirts were not available."

Wasnt the red and white stripes was the pine villa kit wasnt it?

I like that one plus the one from the 60s with the blue stripe down the middle which was copied by Ajax.

Credit it where its due its good we are engaging the fans with something like this hopefully something that reflects our heritage.

Completely agree it's my favourite kit too, but for me. it's the 125 year anniversary not the 55th or whatever it is.

Yep. It’s pretty simple.

Anything else just becomes a bun fight over whose everyone’s favourite kit is.

Then Corney picks monkey sick yellow because that’s what Chelsea wore and there was lots of surplus..
