oafcprozac
If it was me i'd offer it Dowie until the end of the season, not worked in a while. Win, win situation. With the specific instruction to keep us up...
palmer1
It will be someone like Brown I hope its someone like Adkins or Davies but never going to happen Edited February 3, 2013 by palmer1
Blu-Blood
Need a manager that won't be afraid to give them a proper good bollocking when they aren't performing. Someone who can be a bit of a bastard with them and not be a mate to em. Think that was a big problem with PD, he was a bit too nice and it backfired
shefflatic
who would want it? All those managers out of work Davies for me, 2nd Dowie or Phil Brown. The only one who wouldn't want it is Adkins The Liverpool game will have put us out there to prospective bosses. The unemployed ala Davies etc WILL want the job as they are OUT OF WORK simple really..............
yardieoafc
Heart- Megson Head- Phil brown please no to either of these
yardieoafc
No chance billy Davies either. He's wanted money wherever he has been and we've not got none
welshgaz
Why would anyone not want Megson? He's not realistic but would keep us up as genus organised. He would be the perfect candidate.
Ross2509
I've always wanted Phil Brown.
Hands on
Someone who is prepared to work until the end of the season with the prospect of a longer contract if we are still in league 1.

yardieoafc
Awful football. Failed at each of the last few clubs he has been at (megson) Edited February 3, 2013 by yardieoafc
Gaz_Oafc
I think its phill brown, nailed on... I'd rather have the passion of dowie till the end of the season and review it from there... Noway we'll get any of Davies, adkins, grayson, cotterill ect.
welshgaz
Awful football. Failed at each of the last few clubs he has been at (megson) Didn't fail at Wednesday or Bolton. He did at forest.
oafcforever
Phil Brown with ex legend and one of Phil's best mates Rick Holden as assistant, he would get the players playing with a bit of pride in wearing the shirt!!
Lukers1
Dowie is a poss, chance to work with his mate Tony Philliskirk. I am sure SC has already got someone in place, not enough time to hold lots of interviews. I reckon something will be confirmed today. ZiggaZaggaAthletic
Some real dodgy names coming up here!! Jim gannon, Phil brown, megson!!! No thankyou. We want a proven manager and If I was corney I would go all out and get someone like Adkins, RDM till the end of the season.
GlossopLatic
Dowie Dream on! he has a nice job at soccer saturday which will pay him more than what we can offer him, and will be far less stressful. Billy Davies no chance! won't want it Phil Brown on the other hand would be more likely to say yes.

perfectOzblue
Someone who can get these players playing to their ability. Never been a great fan of his attention-seeking public persona but Phil Brown would be okay. Dowie wouldn't be bad. Didn't Real lose again this weekend though? Maybe it's all falling into place for Mourinho to come to BP.....
manshaw
Dowie is a poss, chance to work with his mate Tony Philliskirk. I am sure SC has already got someone in place, not enough time to hold lots of interviews. I reckon something will be confirmed today. The last time this happened, we brought in someone who knew the club- Joe Royle, till the end of the season. While I dont think he will be the stop gap this time, there are others capable of filling that role. Andy Ritchie Ian Dowie
GlossopLatic
Sorry but anyone suggesting Adkins isn't living in the real world
