RoyleArmy1994
No thread on this fella yet and he deserves one! Hats off to him! 3 well took goals to his Oldham tally and hopefully an un-earthed gem amongst our young lads. Look forward to seeing what he can do in the remaining games! super_blue
It's amazing what happens when you play a striker as a striker rather than out of position! His all round play was good tonight. Hassling the back 4 and holding the ball well when needed with his back to goal.
Fruitygoo
Said a while he'll do ok with games and decent service. Seems to be doing ok with half decent service so far... He's actually not disimilar to murphy who i think makes similar (if not better) runs off the ball. In an attacking team, both should get goals.. jsslatic
Couldn't work out if his second was sublime skill or horrendous defending. He was excellent all round tonight. Good player in there.
Hands on
Bugs me that we wait until injury forces us to play a striker we have over another striker we bring in to find that so far we have a gem in our midst. Must see his second goal again. Does he cast a spell? Why did they seem to stop. He could be the small goal poaching striker we have needed all season. TBF Turner has only just recovered from a long injury so he couldn't have even started a game until recently.

SavageTheBeast
Three decent performances for him so far. As long as he doesn't turn into Dan Taylor and fade away
whittles left foot
Is it just a coincidence that this fella starts to hit form under a new manager?
ChaddySmoker
Is it just a coincidence that this fella starts to hit form under a new manager? A mate of his stated a couple of months ago that 'Little Judas' had really been putting him under a lot of pressure to get closer, before he was ready, after injury, to play
NewBlue
He appears to have a great first touch and, crucially, is willing to run straight at defenders, towards goal. It's brilliant to see a striker so hungry to get into goalscoring positions, given the amount that seem to drift into spaces where you can't score from. The boy has talent. Next season could be fascinating seeing how Murphy (24), Poleon (21) and Turner (19) get on. It'd also be excellent if we could have Wilkinson back too, but that seems unlikely with how he's performed.

aaronoafc
Or Five feet eleven inches... Really? Looks smaller than 5ft 11. I would have said about 5 ft 9. Noticed the same he wins loads of headers for his size against lanky centre halves.

losesome
Read somewhere recently that he has had 6 hamstring injuries this season !!!!! Was taken off last night because he felt it tightening up. Needs sorting for next season otherwise he will just become a liability.
