oafc_lover
Can't make out the writing on the picture of the Chron's back page but I THINK it says Keith Brown? If so, looking at his Wikipedia page, it says he's 35 and started at Blackburn but never made an appearance for them. Only made 38 appearances, scoring 2 goals, in his entire football career! Wow. youngen
Anthony White has never played a football game for us. He is highly regarded and has really helped Joel Colemans development. I dont understand why coaches and managers had to have played football to be any good?!

As a first team coach, it's usually vital. As a manager, not so much. Managers can have other traits such as the obvious man-management and tactical skills. However a coach is there to improve the players and if he doesn't have the skills himself, what can he possibly teach them that they don't already know. What did Paul Clement have to teach Cristiano Ronaldo?
BP1960
Oh no, more trendy baffling tactics boards from the same manual hymn sheets, just tell players to get on with it, defend well and score goals. http://youthtoprosoccer.com/2012/10/29/guest-session-by-keith-brown-fwd-movement-in-a-4-3-3/ Edited September 15, 2015 by BP1960

Twisbrogan
Clearly someone that Dunn trusts to get his ideas & methods across. Gives him the best chance of implementing what he wants to do. Shoud also give a fresh impetus to the players & in training. How can this be a bad or negative thing?
Stevie_J
I'd suggest that a(n interim) manager of Dunn's age and lack of experience would be better looking to those who have much more experience in the game, if he's adding to his backroom team. These guys are run-of-the-mill league one footballers whose brains would do better to think about what to do with the ball at their feet, rather than having to consider that the ball is in 'quandrant 3 of the mildly threatening zone' and that they should be running to the 'position of the most opportunity for defensive rebuffing', FFS! bigfatjoe1
His tweets include Goals win games When building a team build a spine i think we should add to the list, just to help. I'll add: Don't concede, don't lose. Play the way you face First touch decides the next move If you can't win the first ball win the second This is fun...
