As long as warren feeney doesn't play that's fine! There are alot of good managers who were :censored: footballers and a lot of bad managers that were good footballers! It proves it makes no difference!

As long as his mantra to the players is not "You have nothing to prove" I guess.

It's possible that Mr W Feeney as assistant wouldn't be too bad a move. He may not be everyone's first choice and I know Linfield isn't exactly League 1 status, but he didn't have a bad record there and Shez must have had some faith in him.

Paul Murray is another good shout, but not Tommy Wright please. He'd be lucky to get down the steps at BP in one piece if he came back.

As an aside, a certain Kirk Millar is at Linfield, although I'm not suggesting we get him back.

Edit: didn't realise Muzza had even been at Barrow, let alone only lasting 7 games. Had enough of that lark, thank you.

The thing about Linfield, Bristol, is that they are like Celtic or Rangers. They have won 51 Championships one of a Big Two. 23 Doubles. The long serving manager (almost 20 years) predecessor took them to success in Europe.

Feeney was trophyless.

So his record was almost mirrors David Moyes.
