Every other local match was off and i was convinced ours would be as well only to find the pitch in perfect condition . Somethings changed and it's not the weather !!! I heard from a reasonable source that, as with all other things at Latics, cost-cutting measures came in. A certain director was named as having to approve any spend by the groundsman.
