Crusoe
Which is why I posted it. I wasn't trying to be philosophical! Heh, got it. Trying to be too clever myself.
NewBlue
3 years worth of watching Winchester compared to 4/5 games watching Banks/Flynn. It took Winchester a long time to get up to scratch. They don't necessarily look 'significantly' better but they certainly look 'significantly'fitter. It's incomparable considering Winchester was a kid and these are established pros, but yeah, it is probably too early to say. However what concerns me is that what we were told about Flynn and Banks by fans of their previous clubs has so far seemed pretty accurate Edited August 31, 2016 by NewBlue

NewBlue
That's the key. You have to have a reasonable level of athleticism. A pit of pace, strength, stamina. He's a light weight, and he's reaching the 'period of peak fitness' (Johnson, you :censored:, you can have that one for your powerpoint). He's got talent but no physical attributes. Pity, but he's like one of those really good Northern Prem players who you think, 'wow, really talented, why isn't he playing at a higher level,' but then he still gets subbed with 20 minutes to go because he's knackered and needs a fag and a pint. He's just lacking the drive required imo. Plenty of slender players have made it in recent years. Ozil is considered one of the world's best but has no stand-out physical attributes - could certainly be described as slow, lightweight etc. How much does he want it? Clearly not enough, and until he can rectify that he won't ever become the player he could be. And yes, he could do with a bit more stamina... Funny you say that, I saw one young player in non league recently with superb skills and defence splitting passing ability, yet he faded badly and I came to conclusion he would struggle in the full time game. bigfatjoe1
Conor Wilkinson gone to Chesterfield. There's another who showed some promise but who seemed to have an attitude and who has failed to make any real progress.

GlossopLatic
Where does Law fit in if thats the case? Dummigan can play both right back and right mid would definitely give us a better option than anything currently at right mid would be very happy with this. palmer1
Fighting to keep his spot. Dummigan like others can also be used further forward.

BP1960
Fighting to keep his spot. Dummigan like others can also be used further forward. Never been convinced with him further forward, but as you say it makes others aware they aren't fixtures in the team.
NewBlue
Not having it that this is true. No way would be sign for us permanently. We have three right backs already, too.
GlossopLatic
So if hes right midfield who gives way? Klok. Dummigan on the right Flynn on the left Green and Fane in the centre Erwin in the hole with Lapado up top.
Twisbrogan
Didn't he only sign a new contract at Burnley at the start of last season on much more money that we would pay?
