Transfer embargo...

Recommended Posts

I personally think that if (and that is a big IF) Winchester's departure does create enough funds to allow us to get out of the embargo - then it's a good deal.

Winchester, whilst has some quality about it, isn't (and hasn't for a good while) delivering on the pitch regularly enough. A don't see his presence or lack of, being critical in any potential survival this season.

The ability to bring 2 or 3 new faces via loans might do just that (Main and Palmer showed that last year). A long shot, but better than keeping the current squad and hoping.

The last two games were 2 we were close to winning. Created enough chances to beat Vale, and even last night - although nowhere as good a performance - we were in the game and on another day would have scored a couple before the late collapse.

A few half-decent players would make the difference, therefore if Winnie going makes that a possibility...so be it.

I get your logic but you have to admit it's bloody desperate isnt It...the next unpaid bill is only around the corner and soon we will run out of all our saleable assets.

And how long would it take him to get up to speed took awhile last time.We are truly f##ked if this happens it is bad enough as it is

No idea. His fitness might not be up to scratch but his reading of the game will be. How well he does initially might well depend on who is the other CB though.
