Pulled muscle according to Wellens on iFollow.

Not indicated which muscle...

A blow.

The amount of these injuries that we have (non contact injuries, basically pulled muscles) is astonishing and totally unprofessional. Something is very wrong in the training and fitness regime.

Harabins Victorian workouts not standing the test of time?

Maybe Harbin working them to hard ? Was always known for his rigourus fitness training, gets teams very fit stamina wise but more chance of fatigue injuries ?

That would be my guess. Somewhere in there the stretching, mobility, conditioning, warmup, whatever must be going wrong. Or just getting them to do kung fu sessions every week or whatever the heck they are up to. But it really is a disgrace how many non contact injuries we have.

Also, if they are out for weeks with muscle injuries, do they actually end up being more strong and fit? I'd say "no".

I love a good theory and blame game, but Wellens said it went at the end of the game, as Doyle isnt fit enough after not playing much and missing game with sending off, but he couldnt take him off so made it worse.

Thanks, got it. I'm sure that one's true, but it doesn't account for the 1/3 of the squad that have been missing from injuries incurred in training and practise matches. Hopefully we will improve in this area.

Didn't seem to to find much stamina in the last 20 minutes at Rotherham.

Considering that they are on loan, I am really impressed with the passion shown by Doyle and Byrne for OAFC. And of course they are very good. If we can sign them it will be great.

They have both been absolutely fantastic ?

Jelly n ice cream if we manage to sign them.

Agree, but theres 30+ players in our squad. Bound to get a few injuries. And of those affecting the squad, Duffus & Hunt have/had illnesses, and Stott, Green and Flynn are long term injuries picked up pre season when everyone is a bit unfit. Otherwise theyre just minor niggles, which every player gets at some point. Not sure on the "its Harbins fault" theory just yet.

Doyle's on fire.....what are the chances we keep him beyond the initial loan?

It Preston dont want to sell, and they are doing well in the championship there is a good chance we will get it extended, although if he keeps netting his stock will rise. Have to say though he is quality at this level.

How long is it since we have seen a proper striker like him in our colours.

How long is it since we had 2 strikers actually scoring?
