So why he can’t see what us peasants are seeing when it comes to tactics and team selections is beyond me. He's just the head coach.

Kewell is weird, no wonder the team isn’t consistent when the manager isn’t consistent. Strange to decision to play Jameson, strange decision to play Jombati at left back. McAleny up top against 3 big centre half’s. Garrity starting. Can’t get my head around some of his decisions. Agree with your sentiment. However we did create a number of good chances and McAleny found space for two or three attempts on goal - unfortunately his shooting was not up to it’s usual accuracy yesterday evening, Also, Bahamboula had two good chances to score and Garrity missed a good opportunity when bursting into the box. And Hilssner’s free kick was over the line too Should have won the game comfortably. That’s what is so disappointing.

But with it being at Home and they have a lot more quality than us I am not expecting a win. Baha should have scored when he rounded the keeper. We performed creditably for a large part of the game but you must have been watching a different one to me to reach that conclusion

Last two matches have shown a marked improvement in this department. Always gna struggle with Garrity and DKD playing at the same time. That was because we did a lot of easy passes across the back line without any pressure on them. Playing a diamond in midfield against five couldn't work and too many hopeful hoofs in the general direction of one of our players after the sideways passing. deyres42
Think Kewell is the type who enjoys mixing it up as a means to try and win the tactical battle.
Wee Bobby
Cheltenam beat us at our own game. They surrendered a lot of ball in midfield (we had 60% possesion) and hit us with long balls into or around our box. We should have scored twice in 1st half, Garrity and Bambi easy chances. The Hilsner free kick looked over the line also. The ref didn't help allowing around 50/60 seconds for all their throw ins. I think 9 in the 1st half. Thats aproximately 6-7 mins of wasted time and disrupting the flow of the game. Surely something must be done.
BP1960
Played well for about 50 minutes then the goal knocked the stuffing out of us. The addition of 3 or 4 better players in the areas of concern would make a massive difference. Hope they arrive in this transfer window.
oafc1955
1 perhaps, maybe 2, can’t see any more than that coming in now. If there are any outgoing players you can bet it’ll be Bahamboula or McAleny... no chance of moving any of the others out including Wheater!
