This thread is specifically for this purpose:

 

To collate questions about the fund so that we can issue a 'Frequently Asked Questions' statement.  To make this a productive exercise please stick to the following 'thread rules'.

 

1. Ask your question in as clear and concise terms as possible

2. Don't discuss the questions raised

3. Don't repeat the questions

4. Don't wander off topic

 

If these 'rules' aren't stuck to we won't be able to keep track of subjects - they will get buried and missed.  If the thread does wander away from its purpose I'll ask the mods to close it as it will be counter-productive

Quite a few have donated since the meeting so this information might encourage others to contribute and build momentum.

What percentage of the £6m target will be sourced from individual investors.

If significant investment can be found from a consortium,  consortia or in partnership with government that would be sufficient to buy the ground and land from the landlords, what is envisaged will happen to the 1895 fund?

If fans could see local businesses are putting in substantial amounts wouldn't this also encourage them to donate?

If you were to purchase the ground as a fanbase, would that then involve the running of the ground in order to profit from the purchase and how would the existing lease holders be affected.

Two points I will pick up form other threads:

 

1. Can shares be issued in return for fan contributions?

2. Can contributions be paid back if it becomes clear that none of the proposed plans/objectives will come to fruition?

Appreciate issuing shares can be complicated 

 

Maybe a ‘reognition’ certificate for amounts donated over £x or £y (to be decided) for some supporters to frame.

That shouldnt be beyond the wit of man

If the original aim is to force Abdallah to sell up and leave, how will OASF owning/part owning the ground achieve this?

If sufficient funds are raised to purchase the ground or form  a consortium to do so, but Abdallah remains in situ as owner of the club, what then?

As I said, if this post could be restricted to specific questions about the fund that would be appreciated.

If a new owner wants to purchase the ground from Brassbank, what happens to any money raised?

If a future owner wants to purchase the ground from "The 1895 fund", what happens to the fee paid?

Why on earth would the club do that, they would have zero fan base if that was pushed through and a Phoenix club would be created at the home of the towns football team.

Maybe if they feel the landlords are being unfair with the rent they're charging? Not quite sure where they can end up though. Maybe the Etihad campus...
