Sometimes a side can have the wood over you without there being a logical explanation for it, sometimes they are just better than you, that's sport. I heard a podcast a few years ago with Gary Lineker and Danny Baker, and Lineker is adamant that keepers going up for corners cause more harm than good and they just get in the way...
