Again, some fans need to lower their expectations rather than blame the club.

Why would the club make any stadium announcement to such a small audience, and after the tickets were sold out; that sort of announcement needs a front page 10 page spread in the Chron, at a crucial time. Plus it might be a stadium share so again not the sort of thing. The fact it is linked to We Are LAtics website shows it is shop related, and given the people behind the promo, and the fact it is evolution.

I'll put my house on it not being any sort of new stadium announcement, and I hope I am wrong in one way.

Couldnt have put it any better myself singe. If the club makes any kind of announcement re a stadium before May 5th, then almost certainly you are going to have small minded nimbys trying to oppose it for political point scoring.

It was just a suggestion although in marketing terms a quick announcement that sometihng found may sell a few extra season tickets if some fans where thinking it could be are last season at BP. Still we await the news.

But for political reasons they would not be able to do this. If it was this then you would get one or two small minded nimbys running in the local elections jumping on the 'we dont want the stadium here' bandwagon in order to win votes, and make it yet another long drawn out affair.

You have to remember the theme that this viral marketing campaign has been drawn around, 'evolution'. Smacks of a rebranding all over, and will no doubt include a new crest, new merchandice to go with and new home and away kits made by Carbrini or someone else.

I can exclusively reveal that Latics 'Evolution' is a cynical campaign to exploit our impotence in front of goal...

Latics will be sponsored by Pfizer next season and sell Viagra in the club shop, along with a range of Latics flavoured condoms - tasteless with a bitter after-taste, tangerine, blue and white coloured lubricants will be available for our 'dryer' supporters and for the Catholic Latics fans out there, there will be a CD of Gordon Lawton's greatest karaoke hits, to practice your rhythm method along to….

The floodlight pylons will be disguised as giant inflatable knobs and a new stand will stand proudly erect on the Broadway Side….

Has this really been much hyped or is it more to do with ten pages of comments on here that will inevitably lead to disappointment unless it turns out to be the Sultan of Brunei taking charge?

To be fair I think 8 1/2 pages are of people telling other people not to to think it will be a new stadium announcement!

I think most are pleased some marketing activity is going on, but wish it was something signifcant regarding our future security.
