SavageTheBeast
Rumour doing the rounds that George elokobi is on trial. Matt chambers says he's a former prem defender whos a unit. Would love it if we sign him can play left back as well
Lee Sinnott
If it is Elokobi, it comes under the same bracket as Llera : Don't trial him, just sign him...
Gaz_Oafc
Elekobi has been on trial at Leyton Orient, although they opted to sign Shane Lowrey instead. He was a fans favourite at Wolves (for his passion and commitment rather than ability) and scored the winner against manure so should fit in well here (if true)
Simoncorneyisgod
Had it confirmed it is him, LJ is concerned about his recent injury record though
slystallone
Had it confirmed it is him, LJ is concerned about his recent injury record though Broke his ankle and ruptured ankle ligaments on his debut on loan at Bristol City and was out for ages. If that ankle is still weak, we're right to exercise caution. But, that said, we've signed Liam Kelly who has been in the same boat for the same injury (from the same club too, what were they doing down there????) As I said earlier, my Forest ST Holder mate said he was a cult hero with Wolves and to a degree with them, but at Forest it was more to do with the fact that the fans latched onto the fact that they apppeared to have a body builder playing who was running around clattering opposition players; rather than anything he did techincal 'football' wise. Having Googled him, he's not as tall as i thought he would be; listed as 5ft10". A unit, but not really tall if its CB that we're looking for him to play? Gaz_Oafc
"Meanwhile, the club have fallen foul of an injury which scuppered a loan deal for a highly-promising midfield player. An agreement had been reached for a talented teenage winger, hailed as a potential star of the future, only for injury to strike while turning out for his club.It means Athletic manager Lee Johnson is back on a fresh hunt for talent to add to his squad, which was today boosted as expected by the confirmed signing on a one-year deal of free agent Jonathan Forte a player who set aside alternative options on the table to commit himself to a future at SportsDirect.com Park" From the Chron Edited August 1, 2014 by Gaz_Oafc
oafc1000
He will be expecting decent wages I would have thought. I don't believe we are in a position to pay them. Could be wrong though.

slystallone
Highly thought of by Bristol City fans; http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/149353-david-noble/ Its a possible moot point as there no suggestion we're going to be signing him. that said, the sheer number of social life posts are a worry - hopefully he's grown out of that the older he's got? The interview on the boat after their promotion is pretty funny though. Grated he's pissed; but he doesnt sound the smartest of chaps....
